In the heart of Kurow, the Waitaki Valley Health Hub is set to redefine rural healthcare delivery in our community. While our region is currently well serviced by a hard-working and accessible General Practice, our current medical facility is no longer fit for purpose due to extensive repair needs and viability concerns. Therefore, we've embarked on an ambitious mission to create a modern, purpose built centre. This hub will not only provide essential primary and emergency care but also integrate a community wing and space for vital services that ensure our communities' resilience.
